The film is also expected to overtake the lifetime domestic collections of top Bollywood earners including Animal (INR 553 crore), Pathaan (INR 543 crore), and Gadar 2 (INR 525 crore) as early as Tuesday, with projections suggesting another INR 60 crore-plus day.
At 3 hours and 49 minutes, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is among the longest Hindi films of the 21st century.
The revenge-driven gangster epic features a star-studded cast including Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan.
The film is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, and has been praised for its scale, high-octane action, and gripping narrative centred on revenge and gang warfare.
If the current pace continues, Dhurandhar: The Revenge could emerge as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
