KATHMANDU: Tinau River in Butwal has reached dangerous levels of water.

As the water level rises, sirens have been activated as a warning.

A warning has been issued to residents of Tinau River’s coastal areas and neighbouring areas that may be swamped to remain in a safe location till dawn.

The water level in other rivers and streams is below the danger threshold. It has been pouring severely in various regions of the country since last night. Since 12 p.m., there has been heavy rain in several parts of Lumbini and Gandaki States.
