According to the makers, Kshetri has been signed for a leading role in the film directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya.
The project already features model and popular influencer Prashansa Rai, who is set to make her debut in Nepali cinema through the same film.
She was officially welcomed to the team earlier this week with a poster release.
While Kshetri’s involvement has been confirmed, the production team has not disclosed whether he will be paired opposite Rai in the film.
The film was formally announced on the occasion of New Year 2083 (B.S.), with Kumar Kattel developing the story.
The screenplay has been written by Sabeen Adhikari and Basanta Neupane.
‘ Chiranjeevi Bhavah’ will explore the generational gap and evolving relationships between two different age groups, set in a contemporary social context, according to the writer.
Umesh Kumar Baral is serving as the producer, while Kumar Kattel and Shailesh Khatri are the executive producers.
This will be Deepak Prasad Acharya’s second directorial venture. His previous film ‘Paran’ became the highest-grossing Nepali film of 2082 BS.
Likewise, Kumar Kattel’s directorial and acting project ‘Laj Sharanam’ also achieved commercial success.
With the addition of Ashirbad Kshetri, the film’s cast is considered stronger.
The production team is currently finalizing the remaining cast and technical crew ahead of the shoot.
