KATHMANDU: MAY. 3 – As of Tuesday, COVID-19 infection had been confirmed in 32 more people in Nepal over the previous 24 hours.

The RT-PCR method detected 29 of the confirmed cases, while the Antigen method detected three.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,094 swab samples were tested, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. A total of 1,504 samples were tested using RT-PCR and 1,590 using the Antigen method.

According to the health ministry, no COVID-related fatalities have been reported. To date, the country’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 11,951.

There are currently 217 active cases in the country, with 23 infected patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
