Positive thinking can achieve anything in the country: Sports Minister

KATHMANDU: Youth and Sports Minister Teju Lal Chaudhary has emphasized that with a positive mindset, Nepalese youth can achieve great success within the country itself.

Speaking at an event organized by the National Youth Entrepreneur Network, Minister Chaudhary encouraged young people to return home and contribute to Nepal’s development instead of seeking opportunities abroad.

He highlighted that numerous opportunities exist within the country, urging youth to embrace creativity and entrepreneurship locally.

“Youth can come back and make a difference right here in Nepal. There are plenty of opportunities. Let’s create and work here. Please avoid going abroad. I have seen the hardships faced by youth overseas. Let’s build our future here with a positive attitude. It can be done,” he stated.

Minister Chaudhary also revealed that his personal interest lies more in starting industries and promoting trade rather than politics.

He stressed that Nepali youth should be proud to engage in local jobs such as hairdressing, tailoring, sanitation work, and fruit vending, as these can generate employment within the country.

Additionally, he called for practical skill development to be integrated into school curricula to better prepare students for the workforce.
