19 new COVID-19 cases, one death reported

KATHMANDU: MAY. 4 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 19 more people in Nepal on Wednesday.

COVID-19 infection was confirmed in 19 people after a total of 2,373 PCR tests were performed across the country.

No COVID-19 has been confirmed in any of the 1,448 antigen tests, according to the Ministry of Health.

In the last 24 hours, one person died as a result of COVID-19. To date, the country’s COVID-19 death toll stands at 11,952.

Similarly, with the recovery of 18 more infected people, Nepal has now cured 966,715 people.

According to the Ministry, there are currently 217 active infected people in isolation in Nepal.
