18 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 22 – The Ministry of Health and Population reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours.
Out of the confirmed cases, nine were detected through the RT-PCR method and nine through the Antigen method.
A total of 3,651 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 2,133 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,518 through the Antigen method.
During this time, no COVID-related fatalities were reported. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,951 to date.
Similarly, 25 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours
There are currently 282 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
