Shivam Cement declares 12.5% dividend

KATHMANDU: Shivam Cement Limited is set to distribute a total dividend of 12.5% for the fiscal year 2081–82.

Company Secretary Lekhnath Aryal stated that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Mangsir 25, during which shareholders are expected to approve the proposed dividend.

The company plans to issue a 2.5% bonus share, amounting to Rs 13.64 crore, based on its paid-up capital of Rs 554.68 crore, along with a 10% cash dividend totaling Rs 54.56 crore.

For the purpose of the AGM, Shivam Cement has set the book closure date on Mangsir 11.

Shareholders recorded in the company’s books by Mangsir 10 will be eligible for the proposed bonus shares.
