Protecvit Micro Insurance hands over insurance payout to Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality

KATHMANDU: Protecvit Micro Insurance’s Bharatpur branch formally handed over an insurance payout of Rs 37.65 lakh to Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality.

The ceremony was held on Saturday, attended by the municipality’s Chairperson Dan Bahadur Gurung, Vice-Chair Maya Silwal, and other local representatives.

The cheque was presented by Kumar Upreti, head of the Bharatpur branch.

The insurance amount covers compensation for a Scorpio and a Bolero vehicle damaged during the Gen Z-led protests on Bhadra 24, when demonstrators set fire to municipal property.
