Policeman injured in factory fire in Pakistan’s Karachi

ISLAMABAD: OCT- 17 – A policeman was injured after a fire erupted in a firecrackers factory in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi Sunday afternoon, local media reported.

The cop, along with his team, arrived at the site after the fire was reported to the police station, and was helping firefighters to put out the big fire when he got injured, the reports said.

Several cars parked outside the factory were burnt in the fire, which was feared to spread to other factories in the neighborhood if the blaze was not extinguished in time, according to the reports.
