KATHMANDU: COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 257 more people in the last 24 hours in Nepal.
The infection was confirmed in 257 people out of 3,921 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
According to the Ministry of Health, 144 people were infected after a PCR test on 1438 people and an antigen test on 2463 people.
In addition, the number of active COVID-19 infections has reached 3,146.
Likewise, 232 more people have recovered from the infection in the same amount of time. There are 2,991 people in home isolation, 155 people in institutional isolation, and 40 people in ICU.
The total number of COVID-19-infected people in Nepal now stands at 11 lakh 47 thousand 688.
