Letter written by Deuba and Prachanda to MCC made public

KATHMANDU: FEB. 6 – A letter written by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairperson of the Maoist Center Prachanda to the US aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has been made public. They made a written commitment to get approval from the MCC Parliament through a letter.

Deuba and Prachanda have written a letter to the MCC stating their commitment to getting the MCC approved by parliament, according to sources. The MCC’s headquarters expressed gratitude for the effort as well. The MCC headquarters expressed gratitude for their commitment to pass the MCC by February 28.
