KNMC to hold free surgery & gynecology health camp
The camp will offer evaluation and advice for surgical conditions including piles, anal fistula and fissure, hernia, hydrocele, kidney and gallstones, diabetic foot, and prostate issues.
KATHMANDU: Kathmandu National Medical College and Teaching Hospital is set to organize a free ‘Surgery and Gynecology Health Camp’ to provide medical consultations and health check-ups under the guidance of specialist surgeons and gynecologists.
The camp will offer evaluation and advice for surgical conditions including piles, anal fistula and fissure, hernia, hydrocele, kidney and gallstones, diabetic foot, and prostate issues.
In the gynecology segment, participants can receive consultations and tests for irregular menstruation, abnormal discharge, uterine prolapse, post-menopausal bleeding, infertility, PCOD, and uterine growths.
Participants will also benefit from special discounts on follow-up procedures: 40% off surgeries, 50% off ultrasounds, and 30% off other tests.
Additionally, urine and blood sugar tests will be provided free of charge.
The camp will run on Saturday, Feb 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the hospital premises in Kathmandu.
The hospital has requested participants to register in advance if needed.
