NEW DELHI: DEC. 12 – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Twitter account has been hacked. After the hack on Saturday, an unnecessary tweet was made from Modi’s Twitter account at around 2:15 am.
“India has officially recognized Bitcoin. The government is distributing 500 bitcoins, ‘tweeted Modi’s account after the hack. However, the tweet was removed after two minutes.
At 3:15 am, the Prime Minister’s Office said that Modi’s Twitter account had been hacked and that it had been taken under control by hackers shortly after.
According to Indian media, the Prime Minister’s Twitter hack is being investigated.
