Heatwave alert across Nepal: Weather office urges caution

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged people across the country to take necessary precautions as temperatures continue to rise.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, hot daytime conditions are likely in the Terai, Kathmandu Valley, and hilly valleys of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

The division has also warned of possible heatwave conditions in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Authorities have advised the public to stay updated with the latest weather information and follow safety precautions.
