KATHMANDU: SEPT. 15 – Famous stand-up comedian Norm Macdonald has died in California on September 14 at the age of 61.
His family says he has been battling cancer for the past nine years. Canadian comedian Norm Macdonald was born in 1959 in Quebec City. Early in his career, he performed stand-up comedy in Canadian clubs. He later moved to the United States to work as a comedian.
Supporters of Norm Macdonald’s, known for their dry delivery, were scattered not only in the United States but around the world. Norm has starred in popular comedy films such as Dirty Work, Billy Madison, and Doctor Dolittle.
He ran his own comedy series ‘Norm’ in 1999-2001. Comedians around the world have lamented the loss of a veteran comedian.
