KATHMANDU: Argentine demonstrators staged a protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, voicing strong opposition to what they described as U.S. military intervention in Venezuela and the arrest of President Nicolás Maduro.

During the demonstration, protesters expressed solidarity with the Venezuelan people and sharply criticized the U.S.-led military operation aimed at detaining President Maduro.

Chanting slogans and holding placards, participants denounced foreign interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs and called for respect for the country’s sovereignty.

The protest reflects growing regional concern over escalating tensions involving Venezuela and renewed debates in Latin America over external intervention and political self-determination.
