Protesters set fire to UML lawmakers’ homes in Siraha

KATHMANDU: Amid nationwide protests on Tuesday, demonstrators targeted the private residence of UML lawmaker Lilanath Shrestha, setting fires and causing extensive damage.

The protesters also attacked the home of Golbazar Municipality Mayor Shyam Kumar Shrestha.

Authorities in Siraha are preparing to impose a curfew as demonstrations continue across various parts of the district.
