NEPSE surges by 47.55 points as all sectors advance

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a strong gain on Sunday, rising by 47.55 points to close at 2,633.42, reflecting broad-based buying across the market.
According to NEPSE, a total of 13,467,145 shares of 328 companies were traded through 89,251 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs 5.53 billion.
All sectoral indices ended in positive territory. Notably, the Development Bank, Microfinance, and Others sub-indices recorded gains of more than 2 percent, leading the market rally.
Mid Solu Hydropower Limited emerged as the top gainer of the day, with its share price climbing 9.49 percent.
On the downside, Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the biggest loser, hitting the negative circuit.
In terms of trading value, Union Hydropower Limited led the market, with 554,921 shares changing hands for a total turnover of Rs 276.03 million.
