Adhikari, who also served as RSP’s central treasurer, had been part of NIFRA’s board for over four and a half years.
KATHMANDU: Lima Adhikari, a member of the Board of Directors at Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), has resigned from her position following her election as a proportional representation lawmaker in the House of Representatives for the National Independent Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party – RSP).
Adhikari, who also served as RSP’s central treasurer, had been part of NIFRA’s board for over four and a half years.
She was unanimously re-elected for a second term at the bank’s 7th Annual General Meeting held on Mangsir 23.
Upon stepping down, Adhikari described her tenure at NIFRA as highly rewarding. “It has been a privilege to work with a prestigious institution dedicated to promoting investment in the country’s infrastructure sector. Moving forward, I will focus on removing policy and administrative hurdles that hinder Nepal’s infrastructure development,” she said.
She expressed confidence that NIFRA will continue to attract significant investments in large-scale, nationally important projects, contributing to Nepal’s ongoing economic transformation.
