KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said on Friday that two border outposts in northern Kuwait were struck by explosive drones originating from Iraq, with no casualties reported.
In a statement on social media platform X, the ministry said the attack took place in the morning and involved two fiber-optic wire-guided drones, causing material damage.
The ministry called it a “sinful, aggressive attack” and said security and response measures were activated following the strike.
Investigations and operational assessments are underway, with Kuwait’s security agencies fully deployed to protect national borders, the statement added.
