KATHMANDU: The 20th Nepal National Mountain Bike Championship 2025 has begun today at the Yagdol (Jagdol) Community Forest in Gokarneshwor, organized by the Nepal Cycling Association.

The two-day competition will continue until Poush 5. On the opening day, riders are competing in the Cross-Country (XC) category.

The event features a 4-kilometer track with four laps, the same route used during the 2019 South Asian Games.

A total of 49 cyclists are participating in the Cross-Country category: 16 in Elite Men, 8 in Elite Women, 5 in Boys Junior, 10 in Men Master, and 10 in Boys Youth categories.

On the second day, Dec 20, the Downhill events will take place, followed by an awards ceremony to honor the winners of the championship.
