Gold price falls by Rs 200 per tola; silver eges up

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has decreased by Rs 200 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

On Sunday, Chhapawal gold was traded at Rs 310,100 per tola.

For today, the price has been fixed at Rs 310,900 per tola.

Earlier, gold prices had surged by Rs 20,500 per tola following a 10 percent increase in customs duty.

Meanwhile, silver prices have increased by Rs 10 per tola.

Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,345 per tola on Sunday, is now priced at Rs 5,355 per tola for today.
