Gen Z protesters attack UML leader Pandey’s home, torch vehicle

KATHMANDU: The ongoing Gen Z movement has yet to come under control, with protesters intensifying their actions in Kathmandu.

Demonstrators targeted the private residence of CPN-UML Vice-Chair Surendra Pandey, pelting stones at the house and vandalizing property.

According to locals, protesters set fire to a vehicle parked in the compound, which was completely destroyed in the blaze.

Windows of the residence were also shattered during the attack.

Authorities have mobilized security forces in the area as tensions continue to rise.
