Ex-Minister Pun enters Myagdi polls as ndependent

KATHMANDU: Education, Science, and Technology Minister Mahabir Pun has resigned from his ministerial post to enter active politics.

He has officially filed his candidacy for the upcoming House of Representatives elections from Myagdi.

Pun submitted his resignation upon arriving in Myagdi, leaving behind his ministerial responsibilities while still in office—a move that has drawn significant attention in political circles.

Running as an independent candidate without affiliation to any political party, Pun has launched his electoral campaign with a focus on Myagdi’s development and prosperity.

He has already begun efforts to strengthen his presence in the parliamentary race.
