Current noodles safe, consume without concern: Yashoda Foods
Yashoda Foods urged consumers, retailers, and authorized distributors not to panic and to continue normal sale and consumption of all other products.
KATHMANDU: Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd. has clarified that its “Current Hot and Spicy” instant noodles are safe for consumption, except for a specific batch flagged for quality concerns.
Stating on Monday, the company said that only the batch with production date and batch number 2026/02/23–04A has been identified as problematic by the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control. All other batches of the product are safe for consumption.
The company further stated that all other production dates and batch numbers of the 100-gram “Current Hot and Spicy” noodles, including those labeled 04A or different from the flagged batch, can be safely consumed without restriction.

The company also reaffirmed its commitment to food safety and quality standards, requesting the public not to be misled by confusion regarding other batches.
