Cabinet meeting: 4 key decisions approved
The meeting also approved the Civil Service 16th Amendment Regulation, 2083 BS.
KATHMANDU: The government has approved for the use of national forest areas for four hydropower projects, including the Lower Arun Hydropower Project, Lower Nyadi Khola Hydropower Project, Hunsa Khola Hydropower Project, and Tadi Khola Hydropower Project.
The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday at Singha Durbar, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Sasmit Pokharel.
The meeting also approved the Civil Service 16th Amendment Regulation, 2083 BS.
Similarly, the government has decided to form a nine-member interim committee for the Nepal Red Cross Society under the coordination of Bishalkumar Bhandari from Dolakha.
In addition, the Cabinet accepted the report submitted by a committee formed to study and investigate matters related to former Home Minister and House of Representatives member Sudan Gurung.
