KATHMANDU: The 58th Central Committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), held at its Banasthali headquarters, has nominated seven leaders as new central members as part of the party’s ongoing organizational adjustments.
The newly appointed members are Samikshya Baskota, Prakashchandra Pariyar, Suraj Pradhan, Nawaraj Thapa, Aashutosh Pradhan, Dhanesh Thapa, and Ranju Darshana.
In recent months, the party has accelerated its expansion by integrating leaders and activists from various districts and groups.
Today’s meeting is seen as a key session following the return of Party President Rabi Lamichhane to active responsibility.
Earlier, the Secretariat had prioritized organizational adjustments and election preparations.
The RSP is also stepping up preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5).
