Six family members injured in tractor accident in Dolpa

KATHMANDU: A tractor accident occurred in Mudkechula Rural Municipality-7, Sarmi, Dolpa, on Thursday evening, resulting in six members of the same family being injured.

The injured include 33-year-old Janak Budha, his 28-year-old wife Dhanashobha Bohara, their 7-year-old daughter Adikshya Budha, 60-year-old mother-in-law Padam Rawal, 15-year-old nephew Ankit Budha, and 17-year-old relative Ritesh Rawal.
According to the District Police Office, two of the victims are in critical condition.
Police reports indicate that Janak Budha, the tractor owner, suffered severe head injuries, while his daughter Adiksha sustained deep abdominal wounds. Dhanashobha Bohora sustained injuries to her face and legs.
All the injured have been taken to Surkhet for treatment.
The driver of the tractor, Vijay Pun Magar, a permanent resident of Nalagard Municipality in Jajarkot, has been arrested by the police.
