Two killed, four injured in tractor accident
One of the injured is in critical condition and has been referred to the Manipal Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment.
KATHMANDU: Two youths died, and four others were injured in a tractor accident that occurred on Thursday evening in Lulang, Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-2, Myagdi.
The tractor, bearing registration number Ga1Ta7196, lost control and fell around 150 meters, resulting in the deaths of 18-year-old Devin BK and 21-year-old Purnalal Rasaily, as reported by the Magdi District Police Office.
According to Police Inspector Sagar Paudel, Purnalal Rasaily died on the spot, while Devin BK succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the Lulang Health Post.
The injured include local residents Kabiraj BK, Kamal BK, Dhan Bang’s Vikas BK from Malika Rural Municipality-6, and Kismat BK from Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-4.
After receiving initial treatment, they were sent to the district headquarters, Beni.
