KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported the partial influence of western and local winds across Nepal.
According to the department, Lumbini Province and other hilly areas are experiencing partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

Light rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in a few places in Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces, as well as isolated hilly areas.
Additionally, light snowfall is expected in some high-altitude and Himalayan regions of Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and other provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide, with chances of light rain and thunderstorms in a few places of Sudurpashchim, Karnali, and other hilly areas.
Light snowfall is also expected in some mountainous and Himalayan regions.
