Woman found murdered inside her home

KATHMANDU: A 51-year-old woman was found murdered inside her home in Thakurbaba Municipality-1, Bhurigaun, Bardiya.

According to DSP Rishiram Gharti Magar, spokesperson for the Bardiya District Police Office, the body of Radha Bohora was discovered with a cloth tied around her neck and fastened to a pillar inside her house.

The door was locked from the outside.

Bohora had been living alone since her divorce, while her daughter resides in the United States, locals informed.

Police have launched an investigation using a trained sniffer dog.
