KATHMANDU: A 21-year-old Subash Limbu from Khopatal, Phaktanglung Rural Municipality-4, Taplejung, has been arrested for the alleged murder of 56-year-old Birkha Bahadur Labung.
The victim succumbed to injuries from an assault on Saturday evening.
Upon receiving the news, police officers from the Taplejung District Police Office were dispatched and apprehended Limbu.
Investigations are ongoing.
