Two injured in rhino attack in Eastern Chitwan

KATHMANDU: Two individuals were injured in a rhino attack in Eastern Chitwan.

The incident occurred in Kashigaun, Khairahani Municipality-1, early this morning.

According to Bheshraj Rijal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the attack took place at around 6:20 AM while the victims were warming themselves by a fire outside their home.

The injured, identified as 45-year-old Sita Nepal and 60-year-old Januka Mahat, are currently receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

Their condition is reported to be stable, Rijal confirmed.
