One held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 25-year-old Mekh Bahadur Limbu of Chaubise Rural Municipality-2, Dhankuta on Monday morning on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl.

Police deployed from Mudhebas Police Station arrested him based on a complaint that Limbu lured the girl and took her to a hotel in Rajarani, Chaubise Rural Municipality-6, where he raped her on Dec 23.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
