Husband held for wife’s murder in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: Amrit Rasaili, a 37-year-old man from Jarayotar, Arun Rural Municipality-6, Bhojpur, currently residing in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-2, Purano Bazar, was arrested on Friday afternoon for the alleged murder of his wife, 28-year-old Samjhana Rasaili.

According to police reports, Amrit attacked his wife with a khukuri during a heated argument, resulting in her immediate death at the scene.

Upon receiving the information, police from the Area Police Office, Dharan, apprehended the suspect. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
