While addressing an event on the occasion of the 18th Federal Parliament Service Day at Singha Durbar on Friday, Speaker Ghimire highlighted the importance of improving staff members’ practical, intellectual, and philosophical knowledge to make the parliamentary service more efficient.
He further stated that, in order to face the global challenges, it is crucial to not only focus on the growth and development of staff but also to deploy them in a creative manner.
Ghimire stressed the need to learn from past experiences to improve the effectiveness of the federal parliament.
He noted that, while it is important to address the political, economic, and social demands of the country, such efforts have often been lacking.
As Parliament is a direct link between the people and the government, Ghimire emphasized that the efforts of the Parliament Secretariat must be effective in resolving the country’s existing problems.
