KATHMANDU: Biratnagar Kings set a target of 182 runs for Chitwan Rhinos in the ongoing Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Biratnagar Kings scored 181 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted overs.

Basir Ahmad played an aggressive innings for Biratnagar Kings, scoring an unbeaten 68 off 43 balls, hitting 4 fours and 4 sixes.

Martin Guptill contributed 45 runs, striking 4 sixes and 1 four from 35 balls.

Rajesh Pulami Magar also played a fiery knock, making 33 runs from 20 balls, including 3 sixes and 1 four.

Openers Lokesh Bam and Scott Edwards were dismissed for ducks, with Bam being bowled out and Edwards caught out.

Deepak Bohara scored 4 runs and Nicholas Kirton made 8 runs.

For Chitwan, Rijan Dhakal claimed the most wickets, taking 2 wickets, while Sohail Tanveer, Basil Hameed, and Kushal Malla took 1 wicket each.
