Biratnagar to host second ‘Metropolitan Employment Fair’

KATHMANDU: In an effort to connect employers with job-seeking youths, Biratnagar Metropolitan City is set to organize the second ‘Metropolitan Employment Fair’ on Dec 16 and 17.
The event will take place at Eco Park, located in Birendra Sabha South, Biratnagar.
On Tuesday, Mayor Nagesh Koirala and Deputy Mayor Shilpa Nirala Karki held discussions with private sector representatives and self-employed individuals regarding the event.
The meeting included representatives from the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Koshi, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Morang Industries Association, Morang Trade Association, Birat Trade Association, Federation of Training Providers, Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, and others.
Participants pledged their full cooperation to ensure the fair’s success.
According to Kapil Thapa from the Metropolitan Employment Department, the fair will feature 30 stalls.
