Court extends Durga Prasai’s custody for 3 more days

KATHMANDU: The court has granted permission to extend the custody of medical professional Durga Prasai for an additional three days.

Prasai, who is currently in the custody of the Central Cyber Bureau of the Nepal Police, had his detention extended on Sunday.

He was arrested on charges of spreading misleading information against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The police are conducting an investigation into his statements, in which he claimed that Prime Minister Oli had made investments in Cambodia.
