Gold & Silver prices drop on first trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: Gold prices have decreased on the first trading day of the week in the Nepali market.

Compared to Friday, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 400 per tola today (Sunday).

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is currently trading at Rs 149,700 per tola.

On the previous trading day, Friday, the price of hallmark gold was Rs 150,100 per tola.

Silver prices have also declined.

The price of silver has fallen by Rs 25 per tola, now trading at Rs 1,865.

On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 1,890 per tola.
