Gold prices drop, Silver prices rise

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has dropped by Rs 600 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today, while silver prices have surged.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is now set at Rs 150,100 per tola, down from Rs 150,700 per tola on Sunday.

In contrast, the price of silver has increased by Rs 10 per tola, with the new rate standing at Rs 1,890 per tola.
