By 2 PM, over 50% voter turnout in by-election

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has reported that voter turnout has exceeded 50% by 2 PM in the ongoing elections at 41 local levels.

Voting is taking place for various vacant positions across these local levels.

Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya noted the enthusiastic participation of voters.

Voting will continue until 5 PM today.
