KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by implementing programs across diverse sectors, including education, health, disaster management, environmental protection, cultural promotion, infrastructure development, sustainable development goals, humanitarian services, and philanthropy.

As part of its initiatives, the bank has collaborated with Round Table Nepal to recycle disposable paper collected from its various offices.

In another CSR effort, the bank supported the Tinkune Community Improvement Committee, Kathmandu, by distributing 50 dustbins to promote cleanliness and greenery in a community of over 400 households.

This initiative reflects the bank’s long-term commitment to community sanitation and environmental sustainability.

The bank also contributed financially to the “Patan Heritage Runway,” an event organized in collaboration with the Lalitpur Gems and Jewelry Association and Rotary Club of Patan Heritage. The event showcased cultural artifacts and traditional jewelry, highlighting Nepal’s rich heritage and artistry.

Similarly, the bank extended financial support to Shri Shiva Mandir, Basdilwa, Siddharthanagar, Rupandehi, for purchasing essential office equipment such as computers, monitors, tables, and chairs. This contribution aims to streamline temple management operations and improve administrative efficiency.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank believes these CSR activities significantly contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the communities it serves.

In line with its vision to offer advanced, secure, and user-friendly digital banking services, the bank has also upgraded its mobile application, launching the “Mahalaxmi Smart Sathi” app to enhance customer convenience and safety.
