By-election: Results updates available online

KATHMANDU: The local-level by-election scheduled for Sunday, Dec 1, will take place from 7 AM to 5 PM at designated polling stations, according to the Election Commission.

Vote counting will begin once the polling is completed and all ballot boxes are collected at the assigned counting centers.

To ensure transparency and accessibility, the Election Commission has arranged for live updates of the results on its official website.

The by-election covers a total of 41 positions: 1 mayor, 1 deputy mayor, 2 rural municipality chairpersons, 4 vice-chairpersons, and 33 ward chairpersons.

The Election Commission has assured political parties, candidates, voters, media, and all stakeholders that results will be updated regularly on its website.
