Price of gold soars today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged in the Nepali market today (Friday), increasing by Rs. 1,600 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold is currently trading at Rs. 150,900 per tola.

This is up from Rs. 149,300 per tola on Thursday.

Silver prices have also seen an increase, rising by Rs. 45 per tola.

Silver is now being traded at Rs. 1,845 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,800 per tola on Thursday.
