Landslide blocks BP Highway in Kavre following heavy rainfall

KATHMANDU: A landslide caused by continuous rainfall has blocked the BP Highway in Kavre district.

The incident occurred today at around 9 AM in the Charaswabeshi area of Roshi Municipality-8.

According to the District Police Office, the landslide has partially obstructed the road, creating difficulties for vehicular movement in the area.

Police teams have been deployed to the location, and coordination with the Department of Roads is underway to remove the landslide debris, as reported by Kavre police.
