PM Oli attends President Biden’s reception

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is in the United States to participate in the 79th United Nations General Assembly, attended a reception hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden.

President Biden organized the reception on Thursday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The event was attended by various heads of state and government officials from across the world, who are in New York for the General Assembly. Prime Minister Oli’s spouse, Radhika Shakya, was also present at the reception.

During his address to the 79th General Assembly, Prime Minister Oli expressed Nepal’s commitment to completing the remaining tasks of the peace process at the earliest.
