RSP summons press conference: What’s the agenda?

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a press conference today at 4 PM at the party’s central office.

According to acting party spokesperson Manish Jha, the press conference will provide updates on the party’s recent visit to China and discuss current political developments.

A delegation that had left for China on a 10-day visit at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) has returned earlier than scheduled.

Initially, the team was supposed to return on Ashoj 14 (Sept 30), but they arrived back in Nepal on Thursday.

This early return follows the political stir caused by the arrest of Chhabilal Joshi, a business partner of party president Rabi Lamichhane, who was recently implicated in a cooperative-related case.
