Nepal announces schedule for League 2 matches in USA
Nepal's first match will be against the USA on Oct 27.
KATHMANDU: Nepal has announced the schedule for its matches in the ICC World Cup League 2 to be played in the United States.
Nepal will compete in League 2 alongside the USA and Scotland. All of Nepal’s matches in League 2 will be played at Prairie View, Houston, and will begin at 10:15 PM Nepali time.
Nepal’s first match will be against the USA on Oct 27.
The second match will be against Scotland on Oct 29, followed by a third match against the USA on Nov 2.
Nepal will then face Scotland again on Nov 4.
After the conclusion of these matches, a T20I series will be held between the three teams.
The Nepalese team has already left for Canada on Tuesday night to play in League 2 and a triangular T20I series.
However, Nepal’s consultant coach Jagat Tamata did not travel with the team due to delays in his visa application.
In League 2, Nepal will play Canada on September 16 and 22, and Oman on Sept 18 and 24.
After League 2 matches, Nepal will participate in a triangular T20I series featuring Nepal, Oman, and Canada.
In the triangular T20I series, Nepal will play Canada on Sept 28, Oman on Sept 29, Canada again on Oct 1, and Oman on Oct 2.
Once these games in Canada conclude, the Nepalese team will head to the United States.
